Two of the world's great olive regions

The Peloponnese — and Messinia in particular, home to Kalamata — is one of the most recognised names in olive oil, with its own protected designation of origin (PDO). Crete carries one of the oldest continuous olive-growing traditions on earth, reaching back to the Minoans, with celebrated PDO zones such as Kolymvari (Chania) and Sitia (Lasithi). Between them they produce some of the most sought-after extra virgin olive oil in the world.

The Koroneiki variety

Both regions are dominated by the Koroneiki olive — a small, late-harvest variety prized for its intense fruitiness, peppery finish and naturally high polyphenol content. High polyphenols mean more flavour, better oxidative stability, and the antioxidant profile buyers increasingly look for in a premium oil.

Why buyers choose Greek extra virgin

  • A reputation for quality — a large share of Greek olive oil is produced as extra virgin, the top grade.
  • Distinctive character — robust, green and peppery, it carries flavour into a finished product rather than disappearing into it.
  • Traceable origin — PDO regions and single-origin lots, for when you need provenance you can put on a label or in a specification.

Grades available

We supply Greek olive oil across grades: flagship extra virgin from the Peloponnese and Crete, plus refined and olive-pomace grades for cost-sensitive and high-heat uses.

Documentation & origin

Every lot ships with a certificate of analysis against an approved specification. Where a lot carries PDO or organic certification we provide the current certificate, with number and expiry, during qualification. The specific origin and harvest year are confirmed for your order — so the provenance on your label matches what is in the tank.

Formats & supply

Bulk in drum, tote/IBC, flexitank or tanker, delivered across North America, and available for private-label and white-label programmes.
