Karpeon is a supplier of bulk edible oils for food manufacturers — sunflower and olive oils — sourced to your application and delivered across North America, with the specifications and documentation your quality team needs.
Our story
Karpeon was founded by two Greek friends who came to olive oil from opposite ends of the supply chain. One grew up with a family-farming background in the Peloponnese; the other, through his experience in Greek restaurants in Chicago, understood how much consistency depends on dependable, high-quality olive oil. That combination — growing-side knowledge of olive oil and buying-side experience of needing it to be reliably excellent — is why Karpeon exists: to give high-volume buyers direct, responsive access to carefully selected European oils, the right commercial formats, and relevant specifications and documentation as applicable during qualification.
What we do
We supply bulk edible oils to food manufacturers, distributors and foodservice operations: mid-oleic and high-oleic sunflower oil, extra virgin, refined and pomace olive oil. We supply both in bulk and as finished, labelled product through our private-label and white-label programmes.
How we source
We source to your grade, specification and origin. Our current sourcing network includes Ukraine and Bulgaria for sunflower oil, and Greece and Italy for olive oil. Our flagship extra virgin olive oil comes from the Peloponnese and Crete in southern Greece; the specific origin and harvest year are confirmed for each order. For every product, we match the grade to what it has to do on your line rather than selling a single default.
Quality & documentation
Every order is supplied against an approved specification and ships with a representative or lot-specific certificate of analysis, as applicable. During qualification we can provide, where applicable, a technical data sheet, safety data sheet, allergen/origin statement, and applicable food-safety, non-GMO or organic certificates — with certificate numbers and expiry — rather than displaying badges. Logistics
