Bulk sunflower oil
Bulk Sunflower Oil
Mid-oleic and high-oleic sunflower oil for food manufacturers — supplied in tanker, railcar, flexitank and tote quantities across North America, with specifications and a representative or lot-specific certificate of analysis, as applicable.

Two grades
Mid-oleic or high-oleic?
The choice comes down to how much heat and shelf life the oil has to survive. Higher oleic content means more oxidative stability — and usually a higher price.
| Grade | Oleic (typical) | Best suited for | Formats | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Mid-oleic | ~65% oleic | Bakery, spraying, general manufacturing | Tanker, tote, flexitank | View → |
High-oleic | ≥ 80% oleic | Frying & snacks (stability) | Tanker, rail, tote | View → |
Values are representative of typical lots and are confirmed on each lot's certificate of analysis. High-stability blends and organic (NOP/EU) sunflower oil are available to specification.

- High-oleic (≥ 80% oleic) — the reference choice where the oil meets sustained heat or ends up inside a finished product's shelf life: continuous commercial frying, snacks and chips, and premium positioning.
- Mid-oleic (~65% oleic) — the versatile, cost-effective all-rounder for bakery, spraying and release, and general manufacturing, where thermal demands are lower than continuous frying.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between mid-oleic and high-oleic sunflower oil?
Oleic content drives oxidative stability. High-oleic (≥ 80% oleic) suits frying and snacks and gives longer fry life; mid-oleic (~65%) is a versatile, cost-effective choice for bakery and general manufacturing. See the full comparison.
Which grade should I use for frying?
High-oleic — its higher oxidative stability means longer fry life and better finished-product shelf life. See commercial frying.
What formats do you supply bulk sunflower oil in?
Road tanker, railcar, flexitank and tote/IBC. Formats and minimums depend on product, origin, volume and destination.
What is the typical lead time?
Lead time depends on product, origin, format, volume and destination.
Do you provide a certificate of analysis?
Yes, as applicable, against an approved specification. Where applicable, a technical data sheet, safety data sheet or allergen/origin statement may also be available during qualification.
Is organic or non-GMO sunflower oil available?
Where the product or origin is certified. We provide the current certificate, with number and expiry, during qualification.
